The pair reconnected after high school over a painting Nathan wanted to purchase from Madeleine. She was completing her illustration degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

The pandemic brought them back to San Antonio where they had plenty of time to get to know each other. Nathan graduated with an MS in financial planning from Texas Tech shortly after.

The two moved to Philadelphia to pursue their post-grad dreams and made so many wonderful friends there.

They went on trips together- one of them being Christmas in Deer Valley with Madeleine's family.

Nathan accepted a financial advisor position in Austin, bringing them back to their home state of Texas. Madeleine also started her cake business, Mad Cake & Company.

Nathan proposed to Madeleine at the Austonian, where they celebrated with friends and family.

Now the pair is back home in San Antonio, enjoying their engagement and having fun planning their wedding ❤️
